BUILDING A WALL
In April 2016, after four weeks of digging up many cubic meters of earth and turning all of the displaced earth into handmade bricks, a crew of thoughtful engineers and artists installed a wall around the circumference of the negative space - two lobes, shaped like a heart - a space of refuge while the 2016 election is bringing out division and separation throughout the nation. The wall is slowly degrading, but the dug out space is there waiting for you.
