Image from the entrance to the installation. Brick wall on the right. One channel of the desert floor straight ahead.
The walls of the gallery were curved (where the images overlap), creating a spiral within the gallery between the walls and the bricks.
Once circling around the brick wall, the second channel video of the port and the 1500 Watt utility bulb become visible.
The installation was created with an accompanying open edition offset lithograph.
The Prints were positioned on a palette for the viewer to take. This allowed the exibition to travel following its disintegration.
Image taken from inside the brick wall looking out onto the video work.
The utility bulb is timed with the videos and slowly washes away the projection.
Shells from the mediterranean were hidden inside the bricks. As the bricks disintegrated, shells bloomed from them for the audience to keep.
