Comprised on a 400W public utilities bulb, a handmade brick wall dug from a local construction site, suspended bags of water, and a looping video and sound piece, [WORK] is a meditation on the alchemic properties of these elements.
In the looping projection, a hand tries to catch a sun beam on the James River.
The utilities bulb shorts out and returns to align with the chants of the sound.
The wall erodes over the course of the exhibition from the dripping water.
